Longtime friend and manager of Britney Spears staged a career intervention for the troubled singer during their recent trip to Mexico in the hopes of persuading her to resume producing music after her 13-year conservatory ended. Is Britney Spears releasing new music this year? Is she being forced to do so?

During their vacation, the 41-year-old pop diva shared numerous smiling selfies and videos with her close friend Cade Hudson, but a source claims that the pair had much more serious conversations about Britney's future.

According to the source, Cade, 34, who has worked with Britney for years, is determined to see her "get back to what she loves to do."

The former talent agent believes Britney will "get back to herself" if she creates new music. The source told DailyMail.com that Cade really just wants to see Britney return to doing what she loves, as she is a talented artist.

He is aware that she is still enthusiastic about this so there is no one forcing anyone to do anything here. He wanted to have a career intervention while also assisting her in returning to herself. He advised her not to cast in the towel just yet and reminded her of her true identity.

According to a source, Britney, 41, was advised that she 'cannot throw in the towel yet' regarding her music career. Their time together has been extremely relaxing and eye-opening for her, to say the least, the source said, adding that Britney trusts Cade more than anyone else in the world. Working with Britney during her rise to prominence is one of Cade's most cherished achievements.

Throughout the procedure, she became like family to him. Britney, who went on a "indefinite work hiatus" in 2019 after concluding her Las Vegas residency, has hardly published any new music in the past seven years, with the exception of a few collaborations, such as Hold Me Closer, which she recorded with Elton John in 2021. Besides this success, she has not released a new album since 2016's Glory.

During the majority of her 13-year conservatorship, the singer claims she was forced to adhere to a strict schedule that saw her "working seven days a week," while her father Jamie, who served as her conservator for more than a decade, had control over her finances and medical care. After the conservatorship was eventually ended in November 2021, the pop princess's fans began clamoring for a new album, and it now appears that her inner circle is encouraging her to give them what they want.

During Britney's conservatorship, Cade remained one of her few trusted confidants. In 2021, he dispelled rumors that he had a hand in the arrangement that gave Jamie control over nearly every facet of his daughter's life.

Unfortunately, the trip to Mexico has sparked some nasty rumors about them - especially since Britney Spears is not wearing her wedding ring.
