Cardi B, age 30, wowed her followers on April 5 when she posted a makeup-free selfie video to her Instagram Story!
The post was requested by the brunette beauty's 31-year-old spouse, Offset, who wanted to see his leading lady without filters and with makeup on.
In the video, the proud mother of two wore a grey t-shirt and a cardigan with a comfortable geometric print while resting on a pink blanket. "Period!" exclaimed her companion in the background of the breathtaking video.
After a fan reposted the Instagram Story, many of Cardi's admirers flooded the comments section with praise and reactions to the rare appearance.
Her natural appearance comes four months after the singer boasted on Instagram Live about removing her butt injections.
However, this is not the first time fans have actually seen Cardi without makeup, as she has previously posted makeup-free selfies on social media. The most recent selfie without makeup was taken on August 13, 2022. The caption for the post was "Forehead a**."
Cardi also shared the photo while commemorating the fifth anniversary of the release of her debut album, Invasion of Privacy, on April 6, 2018.
The "WAP" musician also shared on Thursday a video of herself in the studio with the gifts her team gave her in honor of the anniversary. Since the release of her debut album, Cardi has released numerous successful singles and collaborated with other prominent figures in the music industry.
The 30-year-old even collaborated with Bad Bunny and J Balvin on the 2018 album track "I Like It." She subsequently collaborated with Jennifer Lopez, Kehlani, 21 Savage, DJ Khaled, and others. Last year, she and her six-year-old spouse mourned the loss of family member Takeoff, who was fatally shot on November 1.
One good news is that Baby Shark's Big Movie! will star Cardi B, Offset, and their two children, Kulture and Wave. During a 2022 episode of Baby Shark's Big Show!, both performers and Kulture were featured on the television program. The triumvirate will reprise their roles as Sharki B, Offshark, and Kulture Sharki, respectively, in the forthcoming animated film. Wave, their son, will portray Wavey Shark.
"Baby Shark is forced to leave the world he loves behind after his family's move to the big city, and must adjust to his new life without his best friend, William," the studio's synopsis reads. "When Baby Shark encounters an evil pop starfish named Stariana who plans to steal his gift of song in order to dominate all underwater music, he must break her spell to restore harmony to the seas."
The premiere of Baby Shark's Big Movie! on Paramount+ is scheduled for later this year.
