One of Simon Cowell's "Britain's Got Talent" competitors who has gained the most notoriety is without a question Susan Boyle.

The Scottish vocalist enthralled the audience in the competition's 2009 iteration with her potent singing.

The 62-year-old has maintained a mostly secretive private life, including her love relationships, despite her stratospheric climb to stardom.

A rare photograph of the "I Dreamed A Dream" singer was taken at the Knock House Hotel in Ireland, where she had just finished celebrating her birthday.

Although she has maintained to keep her love relationships private, it remained unclear if she is now dating. It was actually 7 years ago now that she said something remotely about the topic of romance in her life.

While on tour, Susan reportedly met an American physician with whom she developed a romantic relationship. However, she concealed his identity from the media, and the two were never photographed together.

The two are said to enjoy one other's company, despite Susan once saying that her relationship with an American doctor was not "serious at the moment" and that she didn't think it was fair for him to make his life story public.

She jokingly told The Mirror in 2016 that she would send him a picture of her weight loss if he were a good kid.

She shared then that she does enjoy the company of men.

One day after saying that not having children was her "greatest regret," she expressed her intention to adopt a kid.

She stated why she would have made the perfect surrogate mother in a different interview with Lady Magazine (via Mirror). She said she owns a beautiful home; why not share it?

She also revealed that she likes being around children. The fact that she have never had any of her own is what she regrets most.

Outside of her romantic life, Susan has had several more encounters with fame in the ten years since her stunning BGT audition. She published one album every year between 2011 and 2014 in addition to appearing on America's Got Talent: The Champions in 2019. She once said that there is no place like home, thus she has made the decision to stay in Scotland and keep the former council residence in Blackburn, West Lothian, where she was raised.

The performer is frequently sighted by people in her hometown and is said to still be an active member of her local church.

Susan has invested her earnings prudently and still resides in her childhood home in West Lothian, in contrast to the majority of celebrities who immediately blow their money. The singer spent a small amount on an ex-council house adjacent to her childhood residence with the intention of transforming both properties into her "dream home" a number of years ago.

Susan found it difficult to stray too far from the milieu in which she grew up, despite the fact that the options for swanky features were limitless.
