Amid all the breakup rumors and reports, there's another kind of music video that Taylor Swift fans are more pumped to hear - the announcement of a new music video!
Earlier this week, an outlet reported that Swift was spotted in Liverpool filming her next music video. But since then, Swifties have been in a rabbit hole, trying to figure out which music video they are filming given the clues and photos circulating on social media.
Taylor Swift Filming in Liverpool
The Sun recently reported that Taylor Swift was seen filming in Liverpool, along with no other than actress Joey King, who you might remember appeared in the "Mean" music video, a song from the "Speak Now" album.
"I can reveal she spent 48 hours there last week, shooting at Scouse landmarks St George's Hall and the Cunard Building," an insider revealed to the outlet.
Per sources, Swift was actually inspired by "The Batman," the 2022 movie where her good friend Zoe Kravitz starred as Catwoman opposite Robert Pattinson. The music video location was set in the same building,
"Taylor loves the history of the landmarks and was excited to film somewhere completely different and unexpected," the source continued.
Swift is taking a break from "The Eras" tour and is spending no waste of time by shooting her next music video. The source also said that the popstar was "feeling more creative and inspired than ever."
The source hasn't exactly revealed what music video she was working on, but Swifties had a working theory in mind.
Is Taylor Swift Filming The 'Vigilante Shit' Music Video?
According to TikToker starlight_books, the inclusion of Joey King in the music video might be an ode to her inclusion in the "Mean" music video.
@starlight_books Also what if the art being “stolen” is the New Cover of the Speak Now album. #starlightbooks #taylorswift #taylorswifttok #taylorswifttheory #taylorswifttheerastour #theerastour #speaknowtaylorsversion #speaknowtv #speaknowtaylorswift #speaknowera #vigilanteshit #vigilanteshittaylorswift #taylornation ♬ Mastermind - Taylor Swift
After all, The Sun insider also pointed out that she was excited to celebrate King as "her acting career has flourished."
Per the Swiftie, the most likely music video she must have been shooting was "Vigilante Shit," a song from "Midnights," which seemingly sounded like a revenge anthem - a song theorized to be a clap-back on Scooter Braun's "stealing" of Swift's masters.
In the photos circulating online, Swift can be seen holding a painting as she sprints away from the building. In other photos from the set, the famous "Speak Now" piano was also spotted.
The Swiftie thinks that Swift is breaking into the museum of her "stolen art," reclaiming the painting, which you know is the "Speak Now" album.
In the "Bejeweled" music video, her second music video from "Midnights," it was heavily implied that "Speak Now (Taylor's Version)" might be the next re-recorded album she is about to release.
What do you think about this theory?
