Ever since Glendale, Arizona renamed itself as "Swift City" in honor of Taylor Swift's first stop of "The Eras" tour, the proceeding cities that she went to honored her in a grand yet unconventional way.

The grandiosity of how the local government honors Swift gets increasingly wild after the other. Now, with Tampa, Swift now has more responsibilities than any other city she visited.

Taylor Swift Mayor of the Day in Tampa

In a video message the Tampa Bay Mayor Jane Castor posted on Twitter, she announced that since Swifties had been asking what the city would do to welcome Swift as she stop by the city on her three-day show at the Raymond James Stadium, she has since been ready for it.

"We are so excited to welcome you to Tampa," Castor said, before alluding to her song "Style" in her reminder. "Let me tell you, our weather never goes out of style."

Tampa seemed to be following suit as every city Swift has toured on since the start of "The Eras" tour has made a grand gesture to welcome her.

As reported, Glendale changed its name to "Swift City," Arlington Texas made a full blown street sign, and Las Vegas lit up their Gateway Arches with Swift's colors.

"But here in Tampa, we've got a reputation to uphold. We want to go bigger. So I want to present you with a key to the city," Castor revealed.

Not only does Swift was handed the key to the city, but she could now add the "Mayor" title to her already long list of hyphenates - Singer, Songwriter, Icon, Doctor, and now Mayor.

As if the key to the city and the honorary mayor wasn't enough, Tampa also renamed the city, "City of Tampa (Taylor's Version)," an ode to Swift's reclaiming her stolen albums via new re-recorded ones.

To give back to each city that has welcomed her, Taylor Swift also makes it a point to donate to selected charities anonymously. (via Billboard)

In Arizona and Texas, she has partnered with food banks and donated a huge amount to feed the hungry. As for Nevada and Florida, it is not known yet which organizations she would partner with to continue her advocacy.

Taylor Swift is slated to perform in a sold-out stadium for three days on Apr. 13, 14, and 15, 2023, at the Raymond James Stadium, in Tampa, Florida.
