Taylor Swift's breakup with Joe Alwyn may not appear to be an unexpected event.

According to a marketing expert, it may have been timed to coincide with her tour.

Brittany Hodak spoke on TMZ Live to discuss the "Anti-Hero" singer's choice to publicize her split and how it might be part of the Grammy-winning singer's master marketing strategy.

She observes that the 32-year-old singer-songwriter has always carefully managed how information is disseminated to the public.

As a result, it's noteworthy that the news of her split broke during a 13-day break from her "The Eras Tour."

According to Brittany, the Nashville-born musician purposefully intended the news item to surface when she was on tour in order to refocus attention and momentum on her.

The expert went on to say that it would ensure that the people remembered her even while she was gone.

When Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn called it quits is still unknown. Brittany, on the other hand, speculated that their separation may have occurred several weeks ago or even before.

Brittany, on the other hand, does not believe Taylor timed the split to capitalize on a promotional opportunity. Nonetheless, she guesses she was waiting to see if word of their breakup would be leaked during her tour.
