We have listed five musicals up on Broadway right now that we think you should see!
Kimberly Akimbo
Based on the 2001 comedy of the same name by David Lindsay-Abaire, "Kimberly Akimbo" is a story of a teenage girl who suffers from a debilitating condition like progeria, which causes him to age rapidly - which gives her the appearance of an elderly woman.
Premiering Off-Broadway last December 2021, the musical received various accolades and garnered positive reviews. It won Best Musical from Lucille Lortel, Outer Critics Circle Awards, and Drama Desk.
Victoria Clark is currently playing Kimberly on Broadway along with Justin Cooley, Steven Boyer, and Alli Mauzey, among many others.

Hamilton
The award-winning and critically-acclaimed musical needs no introduction anymore. The story of the American founding father intertwined in the language of revolution - HipHop.
Apart from winning plenty of Tony Awards, Drama Desks, and a Grammy, "Hamilton" also won a Pulitzer Prize, so make sure to check if the show still has tickets on your next New York visit.
Shucked
Set in the fictional rural Midwestern community of Cobb County, "Shucked" might have been the funniest musical on Broadway right now.
Starring Caroline Innerbichler, Alex Newell, and John Behlmann, "Shucked" received rave reviews from critics, with Variety describing it to be "the surprise delight of the season."
Check out if they still have tickets!
Six: The Musical
The point of view of the six wives of Henry VIII gets a musical retelling, almost sounding like "Chicago's" "Cell Block Tango," if you would ask me. Historical figures like Anne Boleyn, Jane Seymour, Anna of Cleves, Katherine Howard, Catherine of Aragon, and Catherine Parr take turns in narrating how they were misused by the late King.
The show won two Tony Awards last year, Best Original Score and Best Costume Design in a Musical. Visit their website to see if they still have tickets!
Wicked
Last but definitely not least, experience Oz if you still haven't! Now considered the fourth longest-running musical ever, "Wicked" has always been a crowd favorite. Sweat out the casting issues circulating lately, as either way, you will get a "swankified" time watching it! Check out their website!
