VMAs 2014: Nominees and Winners for MTV Award Show, Featuring Beyonce, Miley Cyrus, Katy Perry, & More [FULL LIST]

After a year of music videos, months of hype and performance announcements, the 2014 MTV VMAs are finally here. Tonight (Aug. 24), the Forum in Los Angeles will be taken over by the biggest names in popular music, with expected performances from Beyoncé, Ariana Grande, Nicki Minaj, 5 Seconds of Summer and more.

Though the fashion, live music and those crazy, unexpected moments tend to rule the headlines the day after the VMAs, the "A" does, in fact, stand for awards, after all.

This year, pop megastar Beyoncé leads the pack with eight nominations, thanks to her "surprise" December 2013 album Beyoncé and its videos for "Drunk In Love," "Partition" and "Pretty Hurts." Pharrell Williams, Ariana Grande, Eminem and Iggy Azalea also lead the pack with multiple nominations.
