Another source told TMZ that Jamie Foxx's hospitalization was "serious enough" not because he was hospitalized but because it also brought many of his family members from out of town - to the hospital.

The source even gave a telling tidbit about Jamie Foxx's health condition: "He's communicating now, and that's good news."

As of this writing, the cause of why Jamie Foxx was hospitalized is not yet revealed, but given the revelation that he "is communicating now," it would probably mean that he became unconscious or had been disabled to communicate effectively prior.

Foxx is working alongside Cameron Diaz and Glenn Close in Atlanta on a film titled "Back in Action."
