"Daisy Jones & The Six" is one of the best music shows that has ever graced television and streaming platforms this 2023. The fictional band inspired by Fleetwood Mac was based on Taylor Jenkin Reid's book of the same name.
Now, it seemed like due to the show's roaring success, the show's song is pressed to achieve Emmy wins in the next award circuit.
'Daisy Jones & The Six' Emmy Awards Consideration Possible
According to a Variety report, sources close to Amazon Prime Video have revealed that three of the eleven-song album "Aurora" would be sent to the Television Academy for consideration at the 2023 Primetime Emmy Awards.
The only category the song would be considered for is the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Original Music and Lyrics. In the 2020s decade, "Euphoria's" "All for Us," "Wandavision's" "Agatha All Along," and "Schmigadoon's" "Corn Puddin'" won the award from 2020 to 2022.
The source revealed that three tracks will be submitted for the said award categories - "Let Me Down Easy," "Look at Us Now (Honeycomb)" and "The River."
Marcus Mumford, the lead singer of Mumford & Sons, is credited as a songwriter for "Look at Us Now (Honeycomb)." Mumford is already an Emmy nominee for Outstanding Original Main Title Theme Music in 2021 for "Ted Lasso."

Riley Keough Might Snag Best Actress in a Limited Series Emmy Award
Although performers and singers of the song are not credited as the recipient of the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Original Music and Lyrics, Riley Keough, the breakthrough star of the show, can most likely win an Emmy for it in another category.
Keough is in serious consideration to be submitted by Amazon Prime Video for the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie. In the 2020s decade, Regina King, Kate Winslet, and Amanda Seyfried all won the award in the said category for "Watchmen," "Mare of Eastown," and "The Dropout" respectively.
According to reports, the 75th Primetime Emmy Awards will be held on Sep. 18, 2023, while the Primetime Creative Arts Emmys will be presented on Sep. 8 and 9, 2023. The show will be broadcasted on Fox, as the Emmy Award nominees will be announced on Jul. 12, 2023.
