Occasionally, your fiancée simply calls to say "Hello" On April 13, during a live Twitch stream, Adele, 34, astonished her boyfriend, Rich Paul, 41, with a phone call, which was accidentally recorded given the circumstances.
The blonde beauty exclaimed, "Hey, baby!" to her man, who was streaming with his companion and internet personality Kai Cenat.
After answering the FaceTime conversation, Rich appeared to be surprised and quickly told Adele that he's live. Still, he assured the "Hello" singer that he would call her back immediately, to which she responded with her shock. She however, did not immediately get off the phone and asked with whom Rich was streaming.
When Rich revealed who he was with, Kai waved at Adele and said, "Hi Adele" with a broad grin. The Grammy winner hailed the Twitch sensation with "Hello, sweetheart" before telling her boyfriend she would call him later.
Kai remained astonished after she hung up the phone and was incredulous that he had just spoken to her. "Oh pop! That was great!" he exclaimed before singing "Hello."
After he jokingly sang the beginning of Adele's popular song, both men burst out laughing. Immediately after several fan accounts reposted the video, many of the 34-year-old's followers responded to the candid moment in the comments section. "Kai really sang hello," a fan quipped, adding an emoji of laughter. In the meantime, a second admirer commented, "That would literally be me, too."
A third devotee remarked, "This is so adorable," while a fourth followed up with the tweet, "Bye, I would have been so excited." According to Harpers Bazaar, Adele and the sports agent have been romantically attached since May 2021, but they did not make their first public appearance until July of that year.
By September 2021, Adele had officially joined Instagram to post photos of her boyfriend. In a September 2022 ELLE UK interview, Adele addressed rumors that she and Rich are discreetly engaged.
From 2018 to 2021, she was previously married to Simon Konecki. The former couple has a nine-year-old son, Angelo. Adele recently announced that she will extend her Las Vegas residency beginning on March 25.
With her romantic life going so well, it is speculated that her upcoming album will contain no sad compositions. According to those close to her, she has written her most uplifting and optimistic songs to date, and she is in negotiations to release a surprise album later this year.
This could help her achieve the same level of success as her icon Beyonce, ten years after the American star abruptly released her self-titled album.
It may coincide with Adele's return to Las Vegas, following Bizarre's announcement that she will extend her Weekends With Adele residency in Sin City from June to November. The album would follow 30, which was released less than two years ago and was her first in six years.
