The Monsters of Rock Cruise 2023 will bring the music festivalgoers to one of the most beautiful and scenic seas in the world: the Caribbean, coupled with great music, food, and activities.
The highly anticipated annual music festival on a cruise ship will commence on Apr. 29 and will finish on May 4 in Miami, Florida.
Here's what people should expect to experience on this amazing and surreal music festival.
Performances, Lineup
According to reports, this year's theme is called "They Came From Outer Space..." and it will have an unforgettable lineup.
Aside from witnessing them perform, fans may catch a glimpse of the following artists and bands while they go around and explore the gigantic cruise ship: TESLA, Michael Schenker, winger Queensryche, Saxon, Extreme, Vadenberge, and Autograph.
Monsters of Rock Cruise also managed to get these artist aboard: Burning Witches, Chez Kane, D-A-D, DORO, Faster Pussycat, Dirty Looks, Hardcore Superstar, Great White, Joel Hoekstra, and KIX.
Lee Aaron, Loudness, Lilac, Mac Sabbath, Nestor, Rose Tattoo, Shiraz Lane, Reckless Love, Rhino Bucket, Tora Tora, Ted Poley, Stryper, Dueling Pianos, with a special appearance from John Corabi, the Mayor of Monsters of Rock Cruise.
The music festival will be hosted by Eddie Trunk, radio jock of VH1 and SiriusXM.
Tickets and Stops
Since the music festival will be held at a cruise ship, festivalgoers can definitely expect to get a good look at the sunset and sunrise at sea, as well as scenic stops in some of the most gorgeous beaches, ports, and islands.
The cruise will be welcoming passengers in Florida's Port Canaveral in Orlando, before heading out to the Dominican Republic's Puerto Plata, then stop by the Private Isle of Labadee, as per the Monsters of Rock Cruise website.
Tickets will go on sale on Jun. 30. Prices start at $1,699.00 per person; this ticket will be inclusive of a cabin and the music festival itself.
Reports do no mention if other activities will also be included in the said fee, however, they do note that the price is yet to include the mandatory taxes and fee supplements.
According to UDiscoverMusic, attendees can enjoy other activities on the cruise ships like interactive events with the artists, Q&A sessions, a Gong SHow Karaoke, "So You Think You Can Shred," Cooking with Rock Stars, Painting with Rock Stars, and more!
