Good news for fans of The Japanese House! The musician recently dropped a new single and will release a brand new record later this year! Find out below when it is coming out.
According to NME, the singer, whose real name is Amber Mary Bain, released a new song titled "Sad To Breathe," co-produced by herself along with George Daniel of The 1975 as well as Chloe Kraemer, popularly known for producing songs for Glass Animals, Lava La Rue, and more.
In a statement, Bain said her latest song is one of the oldest tracks in her upcoming album and it was a different time back then because it's "gone from being solely electronic to what it is now, mostly live/acoustic instrumentation."
Regarding its inspiration, the musician revealed that the song is about a "desperate feeling when someone leaves you and the disbelief that they could."
She added that it's funny that a person could have "insane dramatic thoughts" that feel real at the time, but they were able to look back at their old selves being "ruined."
"It all circles back around," she added.
