Did Kelly Clarkson really throw shade at Troye Sivan in her recent "Mine" performance?
Clarkson officially debuted her new song, "mine," on her "The Kelly Clarkson Show" Kellyoke segment. The track is part of her upcoming album, "chemistry," which will be released on June 23.
Troye Sivan Says He's Ready To Fight Kelly Clarkson
After the April 18 episode, Sivan shared a TikTok video in which he asked his fans what he did to upset Clarkson. The "My My My singer added a clip from Clarkson's debut performance and added the caption: "Troye Sivan/ Who the hell do you think you are" at the song's final bridge.
With that, Sivan jokingly asked her to drop her location since he is ready to fight her.

In reality, the male singer quipped about the misheard lyric, which, in reality, Clarkson sings, "Sabotage, your choice of art/ Who the hell do you think you are?"
Fans already knew that the singer's new song explores her past relationship with her ex-husband, Brandon Blackstock.
In Sivan's second video, he hilariously said, "This part kind of slays, though. Imagine I make this like my theme song where every time I walk out somewhere they have to play this part."
Kelly Clarkson's New Album Has Been in The Works For 2 Years
Before the release of Clarkson's new album, she already told Variety that she had been working on it for two years after she and Blackstock called it quits. The former couple ended their seven-year marriage in 2013.
She shares two children with her ex-husband, River Rose and Remington Alexander.
The "American Idol" 2022 winner revealed during the interview the emotions she felt soon after the breakup and turned them into songs. In fact, she and her producer created 25 songs in just a week after the heartbreaking event.
"So some of the songs, they definitely cover the gamut of emotions; there's everything on the album. It's almost like the arc of a relationship, because the beginning is so beautiful and so sweet, and then it evolves. And sometimes it doesn't evolve how you want," she went on.
Clarkson has since called the album "the arc" of a relationship.
