"I think we're gonna call it a night, man," Tucker said after performing their last song of the show. "Without the leader... I apologize. I love all you motherf--kers. Thank you for coming. Hopefully Trey is all right. We'll see you all again real soon, man. You have a good f---ng night."

Morbid Angel Trey Azagthoth Cause of Collapse Revealed

According to Blabbermouth, Trey Azagthoth's mother, Janell Emmanuel, the cause of Trey Azagthoth's collapse at Morbid Angel's Tampa concert was "dehydration" and a "back injury."

"I would like to say thank you for all of your well wishes for my son, Trey. As it appears, Trey was totally dehydrated. His back issue was due to him slipping while going down the stairs of the bus and hit his back on one of the stairs," she said in a statement.

Janell was assured by Dan Vadim Von, the other Morbid Angel guitarist, that Trey got to rest the night before and seemed to be ready before performing. She then assured fans that she would continue to watch his son and give him the rest and medical help he needed.

"Again, thank you so much for your concern. He loves his fans," she continued.

The incident came weeks after an Illinois tornado destroyed the Apollo Theatre where Morbid Angel performed, injuring 40 people and claiming the life of one fan.
