The numbers are in! Nicki Minaj and Ice Spice's monumental collaboration have finally culminated in Ice Spice's highest debut on the Billboard Hot 100 charts at No. 4.
According to Billboard, the song debuted with 21.8 million streams, 2.4 million radio airplay impressions, and 77,000 downloads. However, fans online have complained that the actual sales have been cut off as it was predicted to have amassed more than 120,000 downloads.
Despite this, the feat is monumental for both rappers, especially Ice Spice.
According to Talk of the Charts, she is the fifth artist to score multiple top 10 hits on the Billboard Hot 100 in 2023 and the first artist to debut in the same year to do so. Ice Spice also managed to chart two songs in the Top 10 this week, both collaborations.
"Boy's A Liar Pt. 2" with PinkPantheress dropped to No. 10 after peaking at No. 3. As for Nicki Minaj, "Princess Diana" is now her 22nd Top 10 hit in her music career, cementing her spot as the most hits from a female rapper in history.
Concurrently, "Princess Diana" also topped the Digital Songs Sales chart. This is Minaj's 13th time to top the charts and Ice Spice's first time to do so. On the Streaming Charts, "Princess Diana" debuted at No. 6. Nicki Minaj also earned her tenth Hot Rap Songs Chart leader and Ice Spice her first.
