This time last year, the Osbourne family had to deal with Ozzy being infected by Covid.
As a result, TV presenter and wife Sharon Osbourne was forced to leave her TV duties to take care of him.
To celebrate TalkTV's first birthday this month, Sharon opened up about her Black Sabbath husband and his recent health scares during an interview with The Sun from her Los Angeles home. Sharon discussed how the last few months have been for the couple.
"Ozzy's Achilles' heel has always been his lungs, so to get something like Covid that affects your breathing and all of that, it was just torturous."
The famous former "X Factor" judge revealed that it has been "challenging, adding, "Ozzy has been plagued medically by different things that have been wrong."
"It is like one thing leads to another then another."
"For some reason, he is tested all the time. I think, 'No more, please God.
She went on to plead, "He has passed all the tests; he has survived - please leave him alone'."
In February, Ozzy Osbourne told his fans that we would cancel his upcoming shows as he focused on improving.
In recent years, Ozzy has experienced several troublesome ailments and injuries.
In 2019, he was the victim of an accident in his home that resulted in spinal damage.
Tragically, due to several surgeries on his spine, all future shows and tours have been postponed while he takes the time necessary for recovery.
As a result, he has been forced to suspend all live appearances indefinitely.
While Ozzy Osbourne's "No More Tours 2" tour was initially due to begin in Finland on May 3rd and end in Birmingham on June 14th, refunds are now being made available as the tour is no longer taking place.
The unfortunate event leading to its cancellation occurred last spring of 2019 when he tripped in the middle of the night while going to the bathroom at home in Los Angeles.
Due to a quad bike accident suffered at his UK residence 16 years ago, long-term traumas have been reactivated in Ozzy Osbourne.
This resulted in necessary medical intervention last year so that progress could be made towards regaining fitness.
His determination has been unwavering, vowing last year to embark on a tour even though it might cost him his life.
Ozzy also has Parkinson's disease since 2019.
