Kesha Boyfriend: Singer Was Secretly Engaged but the Wedding Didn’t Push Through

Aside from a new album, Kesha also revealed very surprising information about her dating life, saying that she almost got married but the wedding didn't push through; what happened?

The musician, who has a new record coming out next month, recently spoke to Rolling Stone to talk about her upcoming album "Gag Order."

The musical project will feature a song titled "Too Far Gone" and it was reportedly inspired by her secret engagement to a boyfriend that got called off. The outlet later clarified that the pop artist is still friends with the unnamed man.

As of this writing, Kesha, whose real name is Kesha Rose Sebert, has not revealed more information about the relationship. She also did not name the boyfriend in question.

Kesha Boyfriend: Could it be Brad Ashenfelter?

According to Page Six, the most recent relationship that Kesha had was with Brad Ashenfelter. The two had been together since 2014.

Despite their romance being completely private, they have been spotted romantically strolling down the beach in 2021. That was the last time they were seen publicly together.

The outlet noted that it's still unclear whether they already split, but Kesha previously confirmed that they were not in a monogamous relationship.

Speaking to Attitude Magazine in 2019, he described Ashenfelter as a "sweetheart," but he also lets her to be herself.

"You know, I'll call him and be like, 'I had fun tonight, I met a sweet girl and we had a really good time.' And he'll say, 'Cool, babe, I love you.' It's so nice," she told the outlet, explaining their connection.

Regarding her sexuality, Kesha is "open to it all" and refused to be labeled as anything. She previously explained in a since-deleted Instagram post that she's not gay and not straight either.

It appears that she is still exploring her sexuality as the pop star noted that she doesn't know who she is, but she loves "people."

After the success of her 2020 album "High Road," Kesha is ready to enter her new musical era with "Gag Order," a new album that will feature her vulnerable side.

Set to be released on May 19 via RCA Records, the musician will be dropping the two lead singles "Fine Line" and "Eat the Acid" later this week on Friday, April 28.

The musician took down all of her Instagram posts and shared only three photos, including the official album cover which features her head being wrapped in a plastic bag.
