Morgan Wallen has been receiving negative comments online since he canceled his show at the last minute a few days ago. Today, his good pal Jelly Roll's wife, Bunnie XO, defended the musician for the backlash.
According to Billboard, the country musician was scheduled to perform at the Vaught Hemingway Stadium in Oxford, Mississippi, over the weekend, but he had to cancel the show at the last minute despite fans already gathered inside the venue.
Taking to her official Instagram stories, Bunnie XO took the opportunity to defend the singer, saying she watched the situation "unfold all day long."
As a wife of an artist, the podcast host said she witnessed everything that happened behind the scenes, and decisions like what happened during Wallen's concert were not easy.
Jelly Roll's Wife Bunnie XO Says 'Those Decisions' Are Never Easy
Explaining the situation by comparing it to her husband, the model added that she saw Jelly Roll undergo a similar situation as he previously had bronchitis.
To treat his medical condition, he needed to have two or three breathing treatments, an IV, a shot of Toradol, steroids, and more, in order for him to continue his performance.
One of the main reasons why he still wanted to perform is he knows he'll get backlash if he cancels a show. In addition to that, he also didn't want to upset his fans.

"When an artist has to make a decision to cancel a show... it's one of the hardest decisions they have ever made. It's not them sitting in the back and saying, like, 'Oh, you know, I don't want to show up to work today," she added.
Bunnie XO further revealed that there are many factors that go into the cancelation of shows and artists also lose out on money because they had to pay the venues back.
She noted that health is the most important thing for everyone and when a person is sick, they couldn't give their all.
Either way, if Morgan Wallen continued his performance despite losing his voice, the "Dumb Blonde" podcast host knows that people would still be mad at him and could potentially make videos about him.
Concluding her sentiments, Bunnie XO explained her whole point, saying people should have "a little grace" and they needed to be kind because "it costs nothing to be nice."
