Drakeo, the Ruler's death, was put under the spotlight again following the fatal stabbing of rapper MoneySign Suede.

MoneySign Suede, Drakeo the Ruler Died in a Similar Way

The public raised concerns due to the recent incident that became an addition to the long list of murders involving rappers.

Associated Press cited statements from the authorities and MoneySign Suede's attorney confirming that the rapper died after he was stabbed in a shower area of the correctional training facility in Soledad.

Authorities responded to him and tried to revive him after finding him shortly before 10 p.m. However, MoneySign Suede died at a prison medical facility moments later.

In an exclusive interview with The Los Angeles Times, attorney Nicholas Rosenberg said that it was reportedly a stabbing to the neck. No further details regarding his injuries were released, but they started investigating his death as a homicide.

Due to the event, fans were reminded of the tragic death Drakeo the Ruler faced in December 2021. At that time, the Los Angeles Police Department revealed it received a call regarding a man around 30 years old who was stabbed around 8:40 p.m. at the Once Upon A Time in LA.

An officer revealed that the man was later identified as Drakeo the Ruler and that the stabbing incident left him gravely injured.

Responders rushed him to a nearby hospital where he was declared dead hours later.

Drakeo the Ruler's mother, his wife, and son Caiden Caldwell filed separate lawsuits. No update has been released yet since a Los Angeles judge dismissed Live Nation's request not to proceed with the case in January.

Why MoneySign Suede Was in Jail

MoneySign Suede's lawyer revealed that his client was serving a 32-month sentence for gun charges in Riverside County. He previously had a gun charge in Los Angeles County.

HipHop DX reported that the late rapper already pleaded guilty and was about to receive a two-year sentence. He entered the facility after surrendering in December.

The identity of the suspect behind his killing is yet to be determined.
