According to WFMZ, the 33-year-old artist has been absent in the music industry over the past three years. The reason behind her hiatus was she felt "lost" after a close friend of hers passed away.
In a recent interview, the singer, who has the most number one tracks of any solo British musicians, said the loss changed her outlook in life and the way she sees it.
Glynne went through a though time as she became "deeply unhappy" and became lost in her career, and at the same time, she felt trapped by the people who didn't believe her during those moments.

After a lot of contemplation, the "Rather Be" singer decided to walk away from the negativity to have a fresh start and rebuild not just her career but also herself.
"This was probably one of the toughest, scariest things I have ever done and at the time I had no idea how it would work out but I had to put my happiness and my mental health first no matter what," she told Metro.
Over the past few years, Glynne suffered from a lot of things and it challenged her emotionally and physically, but she's now ready to continue her music career as the shortcomings she had been thorugh only made her to be the best version of herself.

The latest track revolves around the meaning of life being not perfect and there will be ups and downs along the way.
"Life isn't perfect, we all mess up along the way and have moments where we have felt silly, but what matters is picking yourself up and not being too hard on yourself," she told Metro.
This is also the musician's first song after signing under Jay Z's record label, Roc Nation, after leaving Atlantic Records in 2022.
