Michelle Obama Singing: Former First Lady Collaborates With Bruce Springsteen in Concert [WATCH]

Aside from being a best-selling author and philantrophist, former first lady Michelle Obama also has a knack in music as she recently performed with Bruce Springsteen and his band at a concert in Spain.

According to People Magazine, the legendary musician and his E Street Band played at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys and fans were shocked when the "Becoming" writer went up the stage with a tambourine.

The musician and the former first lady then jammed out to the song "Glory Days." Other special guests, who did back up vocals for the track, include Kate Capshaw and the musician's wife, Patti Scialfa.

Insider reported that the former president of the United States, Barack Obama, was also present at the event and he was seen smiling throughout the performance.

Per The Independent, the former first couple had dinner at the Palace Hotel's Amar fish food restaurant with Springsteen and Steven Spielberg the night prior.

They also visited some of the most famous tourist spots in the country, the Moco Museum.

Bruce Springsteen, the Obamas Relationship

Bruce Springsteen has been good friends with Barack and Michelle Obama for years now. Two years ago, the rocker and the former president released a podcast titiled "RENEGADES: Born in the USA" along with a book.

The former head of the country said the musician is surprisingly shy when they first met, even though he's a singer who perform in front of thents of thousands of people at a time.

Their podcast started when they had long conversations about what does it mean to be a man or an American, then they immediately thought that the topics they were discussing would be "useful" for other people.

When Barack told him about the podcast idea, Springsteen was surprised as he told the former president: "I am a guitar-playing high school graduate from Freehold, New Jersey, and you want me to do what?"

Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band Tour 2023

It appears that Bruce Springsteen has more surprises for his fans as he added more shows to their current 2023 leg.

The tour kicked off at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas, on February 14, 2023. They visited several cities across North America before traveling to Europe for another set of shows. (via Pitchfork)

Their next performance would be a three-night show at the RDS Arena in Dublin Ireland on May 5, 7, and 9, 2023.

Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band's final scheduled show will be at the Chase Center in San Francisco, California, on December 8, 2023.
