Harry Styles announced that he is dropping a music video for his newest single, "Satellite," on May 3 with the use of a couple of "Wall-E"-inspired teaser pictures.

A few days prior to the news of Styles' new single and music video coming out, there have been rumors of the Grammy Awarded singer shooting a music video.

There was a behind-the-scenes picture of Styles in what looks like a cafe or diner that circulated around Twitter.

The person who tweeted the picture claimed that their friend was at the shoot for the music video and secretly took a picture of the singer.

Sure enough, the news of a music video being released came shortly afterward-directly from HSHQ.

'Satellite'

According to Metro, the singer's camp has released several teaser pictures for the upcoming single, and it's giving "Wall-E" energy. "Wall-E" is a 2008 Pixar-Dsiney animated film that follows the story of a lonesome robot in outer space.

Although no one is certain what Styles' robot-whose name was revealed to be Stomper, inspired by the dance steps the singer does whenever he performs the song, "Satellite Stomps"-will be like in the music video, some think that it might have something to do with being sad and alone as well, given that "Satellite" is not really a happy song, to begin with.

According to Capital FM, the song, which is featured on "Harry's House," is likened to a cyclic relationship ("I go round and round").

It also shows that Styles is diligently waiting for his lover to reach out to him and put him out of his misery of being left out in space ("I can see you're lonely down there, don't you know I'm right here?") And of course, the most telling line of the song "spinnin' out here, waitin' for you to pull me in."

Fans React

The news of a new music video from the "As It Was" singer sent fans spiraling, as they thought that "Harry's House" had finished its victory lap after winning Album of the Year at the 2023 Grammy Awards.

"If Harry Styles makes some sad a*s Mars rover dying-esque music video he's gonna hear from my lawyer," a fan joked.

"I JUST KNOW SATELLITE IS GOING TO BE MY MOST FAVORITE HARRY STYLES MUSIC VIDEO EVER," another added enthusiastically.
