Jack Harlow might be living his best life in some of the biggest and brightest cities in the world, but he would never forget where he came from.
The rapper surprised fans and the citizens of Louisville, Kentucky by finally officially launching his very own Jack Harlow Foundation.
"The launch of my foundation is represented by gifts to 4 organizations that I believe are doing the work of making Louisville a better place;" Harlow announced.
"Helping under-resourced families remove obstacles to higher education, supporting a new start in a neighborhood that has been lacking investment, giving hands-on assistance to the poorest of the poor, and making safe housing affordable for families."
Harlow also noted that this is his way of giving back to the community that raised him and that this is simply the start of his "philanthropic legacy."
Success and Roots
Harlow is one of the rising stars in the rap game right now. By the age of 25, he has been nominated for several Grammy Awards, including Best Rap Performance, Album of the Year, Best Melodic Rap Performance, and Best Rap Song.
Aside from his flourishing music career, he also happens to have experience in acting. He starred in "White Men Can't Jump" and "The Instigators," although both movies are yet to be released.
"With all I have done and will do in my career, my home is where my heart is, my refuge, and the place that shaped me," Harlow continued.
"Giving back to Louisville represents the dream I have of making a difference. My vision is to make Louisville a better place."
According to Billboard, because of his dedication to giving back to the community, the rapper will be presented with the Hometown Heroes banner in his hometown.
Net Worth
According to Cosmopolitan, Harlow boasts a net worth of $4 million. A good chunk of that came from 2021's brand endorsements.
Harlow has been taking good care of his image, and making sure that he "aligns" with all the brands that he works with, noting that he does not "spread [himself] too thin."
"It's cool to do a deal with a brand that I used to wear as a kid and now they're rocking on me," he said in an interview.
It seems like $4 million is not that big for a rapper as famous as Harlow, but this is only the beginning of his career. He is expected to grow and earn more in the coming years.
