The court documents obtained by Radar Online on Tuesday showed that the 43-year-old Medina Jr. is being held due to a second-degree felony charge of robbery without a firearm or weapon and a first-degree misdemeanor charge of battery.

The new filing came after he filed a motion to be released from house arrest as he reportedly needed to continue to work to support his family. The judge granted his request and allowed him to travel for work while still on house arrest as it was claimed that he was not a risk of danger to the community.

On the other hand, the court issued him a no-contact order which prevents him from contacting Tekashi 6ix9ine.

On his first social media post regarding the incident, the 26-year-old rapper said the incident was nothing "but cowardly." He said that he is not mad about what happened since "the streets have no rules," adding that he only felt happy to still be there.

6ix9ine noted that he had been walking anywhere without security for two years and that he wanted people to see that he never hid from anything at all.

He showed his followers what he went through by unveiling a video of three men taking turns in kicking and punching him while he remained crouched on a bathroom floor.

The rapper reportedly tried to fight back, but the suspects fled the scene after the employees heard the commotion. He ended up with bloodied eye and bruised face that led to his hospitalization.
