Morgan Wallen is back performing for his fans after postponing a few of his shows last week to rest as it was advised by his doctors. Hours before his scheduled concert recently, the country star took his time to address the issue and give fans an update regarding his health online.

Taking to his official Instagram account, the singer shared a video on his stories, which was reportedly filmed at VyStar Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, Florida, hours before the show, saying he's not "100%," but he's "doing a lot better" compared last week.

The musician then proceeded to address the cancelation of his show in Oxford, Mississipi, last week, which was met with controversy as fans were already in the venue when the show got postponed.

"And to everyone in Oxford, I just wanted to reiterate how sorry I am for the way that went down. I thought I was going to be good to go and I just wasn't," he added. (via People Magazine)

It appears that fans in Mississippi would see Wallen after all as his team is already working on a rescheduled date. Although there still no formal announcement regarding the exact date and details, he assured fans that his team will announce it soon.

What Happened to Morgan Wallen?

In early reports, fans were disappointed after Morgan Wallen canceled his Oxford show at the last minute and concertgoers were already at the venue when they heard about the sad news.

In addition, his show at the Vaught Hemingway Stadium was also postponed. Video boards inside showed a message, saying the country crooner lost his voice and will not push through with the event.

Wallen finally addressed the issue on Instagram, saying he was ordered by doctors to go on vocal rest. He also revealed that his shows that week in Illinois, Michigan, and Nebraska, would be postponed.

"it would be unfair of me to put on a show that I know will not be 100%. I'm doing everything I can to speed up the process of getting to that 100% mark," he said.

Was Morgan Wallen Drunk?

After Wallen canceled his show last week, fans were more angered after a security staff from the venue was filmed, saying the country star was "too drunk" to continue the show.

The unnamed security guard said his statement about losing his voice was "bullcrap" as he couldn't walk due to being intoxicated to alcohol and alleged that he was taken away by ambulance.

After the video went viral on social media, BEST Crowd Management, which is the team that manages Morgan Wallen, issued a statement, saying the allegations were not true.
