Taylor Swift confirmed the release date of her re-recorded album, "Speak Now (Taylor's Version)."

Swift has been dropping the re-recorded versions of her old records since she bought back her music catalog from her former record label. Her previous manager, Scooter Braun, had ownership of her first six albums when he acquired them in 2020.

The "Midnights" hitmaker is expected to release six rerecorded projects, with the most recent one arriving soon.

Taylor Swift's "Speak Now (Taylor's Version)" Release Date

On Swift's social media accounts, the "Lavender Haze" singer announced the arrival of her new re-recorded album, "Speak Now (Taylor's Version)."

"I first made Speak Now, completely self-written, between the ages of 18 and 20. The songs that came from this time in my life were marked by their brutal honesty, unfiltered diaristic confessions and wild wistfulness," she wrote. "I love this album because it tells a tale of growing up, flailing, flying and crashing... and living to speak about it."

Swift revealed that she would also be adding six extra songs from her vault before confirming that "Speak Now (Taylor's Version)" would be released on July 7.

The pop superstar also attached the pre-order link for fans who want to buy the album upon its release.

Her post came soon after she personally surprised her fans during her Eras Tour's Nashville stop that "Speak Now (Taylor's Version)" would be her next re-recorded release. The attendees personally witnessed the stadium screens flash the text, "Speak Now. Taylor's Version. Available July 7."

Swift released "Speak Now" in 2010, becoming her third studio album. It contained the hit songs "Back to December," "Mine," "Sparks Fly," and "Ours," among others.

Taylor Swift Dropped Hint About Re-Recorded Album

Before Swift's official announcement, her fans Swifties already saw the sign when the light-up wristbands given to the attendees of the Eras Tour at Atlanta's Mercedes-Benz Stadium turned purple at the end of her show.

Since the color represents the "Speak Now" album, it seemingly confirmed the long-speculated arrival of the re-recording.

In October 2022, Swift released "Bejeweled" music video where her fans found Easter eggs hinting at the re-recorded album. When the singer enters the elevator in the clip, she presses the purple button to go to the third floor.

Fans began to theorize that the other buttons represent her other albums, like the red No. 11 button for "Red," pink no. 7 for "Lover," and light blue no. 5 for "1989," among others.
