Priscilla Presley set the record straight about her current relationship with her granddaughter, Riley Keough.
Reports have been lurking around in the past few months since Lisa Marie Presley's death, claiming that Priscilla and Riley are currently in a head-on clash due to the amendment to the singer's living trust. They further reveal that the grandmother-granddaughter tandem are fighting for their rights, but Priscilla recently spoke the truth.
Priscilla Presley Says She Is Not Feuding With Riley Keough
In a new exclusive video from Backgrid (via Fox News) captured a quick interview with Priscilla during her rare public appearance. The 77-year-old was asked by the interviewer about her and Riley coming together on things, to which she replied it was "a bunch of B.S."
The person behind the camera then asked, "Don't believe what we're reading?" The actress suggested no by shaking her head, but the camera person threw another question about whether they are on good terms.
Per Lisa Marie Presley's mother, she and Riley are not feuding and their relationship remains the same.
Her quick, brief comment resonated with what she told the crowd during her appearance on the "An Evening With Priscilla Presley" tour. At that time, she said everything is fine between them and other family members amid the legal dispute.
Meanwhile, Lisa Marie's half-brother Navarone Garcia also addressed the issue on Instagram. He disclosed that Priscilla and Keough even went out for dinner last time to reconnect, proving that there has been no feud between them.
Lisa Marie Presley's Estate: What Happened?
The rumors about Priscila and Riley's alleged dented relationship started when Priscilla filed a petition in Los Angeles as she questioned the validity and authenticity of Lisa Marie's living trust amendment dated 2016.
The actress found out that she and Lisa Marie's former business manager Barry Siegel, were removed as co-trustees and got replaced by Riley and Benjamin Keough, who died by suicide in 2020.
According to the official amended document, the late singer's children will have full control of her trust, Graceland mansion, and her 15 percent stake in Elvis Presley Enterprises.
Priscilla argued that the changes should not be acknowledged as Lisa Marie's name was misspelled and her signature was seemingly forged.
Elvis Presley's only daughter had a $1.1 million unpaid loan and unsettled taxes, but she took out multiple life insurance policies before her death, leading her estate to have $35 million at the time of her passing.
