Elvis Presley reportedly ate a "gruesome" snack when he watched his last movie with his daughter, Lisa Marie Presley.
Apart from being a singer, Presley expanded his career as an actor. In fact, he starred in several hit movies in Hollywood.
Before his death, he still showed his love for films as he booked local cinema, The Southbrook Theatre, where he watched his last movie with his daughter, Lisa Marie.
Elvis Presley Ate "Gruesome" Cinema Snack
On Spa Guy's YouTube channel (via Express), Presley's stepbrother Billy recalled the late King of Rock and Roll's last moments at the rented-out cinema, during which he reportedly consumed unusual food.
He also revealed that the "Can't Help Falling in Love" hitmaker always sat at the center of the room where his water, Pepsi, popcorn, and Sweetarts were already prepared. While the sweet treat was famous at that time, Presley did something with it that some fans found uncommon and disgusting.
"He would take Pepsi and put sweet tarts in it and so when you get finished with it, at the bottom they would be laying there and it'd be really soft, so you don't have to really chew on them that much," Billy said.
While it might not sit well with fans, Billy assured everyone they were good.
Aside from those snacks, Presley also notably enjoyed having peanut butter fingers served on a silver platter. During times he did not want to eat, The King would reportedly smoke his cigars throughout the movie.
Presley's last film with Lisa Marie and his then-girlfriend, Ginger Alden, was "The Spy Who Loved Me," although they initially wanted to watch "Star Wars: A New Hope."
After the film, Presley drove his daughter and girlfriend back to Graceland.
Elvis Presley's Last Moments
In the hours leading to his death, Presley experienced his health deteriorate. The singer had a scheduled August 17 concert in Maine's Cumberland County Civic Center, leading him to consume pills to make himself fall asleep hours before the event.
Elvis was found dead inside his bathroom where he stayed for a long time due to extreme constipation. It was later revealed that he died of a heart attack which was likely worsened by his addiction to prescription barbiturates and the medications he took the night before his death.
