Stalley's MMG debut is dropping sooner than we expected.
He recently took to Twitter to announce his album Ohio will be released October 28 and he even offered up some music as fans anticipate the release.
On his latest cut and the album's first single "Jackin Chevys," Stalley pays homage to West Coast culture and channels his inner Eazy-E. Check out the video below.
Just last week, Stalley announced the album's name in a vlog while in the studio recording new tracks. "I'm really trying to give the people that sound again, and not only that sound but get deeper into what we started," the "Feel That Bass" rapper explained.
Stalley took to Instagram a few weeks back to celebrate his new release and praise the music coming out of his home state. "I've been inspired by the high energy coming out of my homestate these last few weeks. I'm about to build onto that excitement and provide the soundtrack for the new memories about to be created. The time is right. My Album Is Coming. #BCGMMG #OHIO #330 #BALL," he captioned a photo (hence his decision to name the album after his birthplace). The MMG boss Rick Ross even took to social media to promote Stalley's forthcoming debut.
Stalley's album may be one of the most anticipated releases from the MMG roster. Last fall, he released his Honest Cowboy mixtape and also appeared on MMG's Self Made Vol. 3 compilation. He has been signed to the label for roughly four years with no mainstream release.
MMG often times opted to release projects from Wale and Meek Mill instead. However, with Meek being locked up, this may be Stalley's opportunity to emerge from the shadows.
