At this year's season finale of "Voice," many viewers expressed their discontent with producers, claiming it was more about Blake Shelton's departure than declaring a winner.
Blake has been part of "The Voice" since 2011 when it debuted.
"The Voice" season 23 finale on Tuesdays contained an abundance of admiration for the 46-year-old country superstar.
Carson Daily hosted segments dedicated to the star's victories on the show and how they facilitated his marriage to Gwen Stefani and beyond.
The competition's finale saw the finalists and their coaches unite for fantastic performances.
Several guest performers were invited to participate in the show to make things even more exciting.
As the show progressed, viewers watching from home started to notice a trend: it seemed most of the show was dedicated to Blake.
Taking to Twitter, these same viewers expressed their feelings about what they were seeing, according to The Sun.
A viewer took to Twitter to express their opinion: "As a potential finalist of this season, I feel slighted because the finale has been focused solely on Blake's departure. It's like the other contestants have totally been forgotten - we get it that he is leaving!"
An opinion was expressed, "I have a hunch that this season is likely to be settled in Blake's favor, although Gina Miles has done a great job and I'm certain she deserves the win. She earns my vote."
Another person posted on social media: "The amount of people casting their ballot for Gina is remarkable, so it would be absolutely unfair should Blake's team triumph tonight!"
Blake Shelton took the opportunity to comment on his departure, noting that it was time for him to take a step back from the show. He went on to explain that he felt this move was necessary.

While Blake Shelton is leaving "The Voice", his wife, Gwen Stefani, is reportedly returning to the show.
Gwen Stefani will take up a spot on the coaching team for the forthcoming season of the television series alongside John Legend, Niall Horan, and Reba McEntire.
This news was made public recently with much excitement from show fans.
Despite being a coach for seasons 7, 9, 12, 17, 19, and 22, the "Hollaback Girl" singer didn't think she would be asked back to the big red chair again.
Her husband previously revealed this on the red carpet interview of the Live Semi-Finals.
"And I go, 'What are you talking about? You know they had you, they invited you to be a coach for seasons before you and I were ever a thing."
"And she was like, 'Oh, yeah, that's right. They did do that.'"
"And then, sure enough, she's already going to be back," the "Minimum Wage" singer continued. "She was excited to get the call."
