Angie Miller, American Idol Finalist, Reveals Title And Lyrics To New Song, 'Put It On Me'

Angie Miller released the title and some lyrics to 'Put It On Me,' a new song she has written, on July 2, via Twitter.

The new song is entitled, 'Put It On Me.' On July 2 Miller tweeted, "Do you guys wanna hear lyrics to another song!!?? ;)." After the responses came flooding in, Miller decided to release the lyrics. She tweeted, "The weight's too much, so give it all up. You can put it on me now. Don't carry that weight, alone. You can #PutItOnMe !!"

It seems like the new song could be about friendship, faith or a combination of the two. It is not unlikely that the new song will reflect on faith to some degree after Miller had released her hit single, 'You Set Me Free,' a song that reflects on the constant, ever-present and judgement-free love of God.

On June 23, Miller had also posted lyrics to another song that she has been writing entitled, 'Shatter.' Those lyrics state, "It's my passion I believe in/ Tell me you can hear it/ I want you to need it," and, "It's time to break the glass and all that holds me back is gonna shatter."

Miller said that she is excited to share her new music with her fans, a loyal group of followers, dubbed #Dreamers. On July 3 she tweeted, "Can't wait for you guys to hear #PuItOnMe and #Shatter =)"

Miller has been working on writing new music and collaborating with other musicians for the past couple of weeks. According to Twitter, she has been collaborating with artists like Toby Gad, Autumn Rowe, Adam Watts, Gannin Arnold, Andy Dodd and more on the new music that she is writing.

In addition to working on new music, Miller has been preparing for the 'American Idol Live! 2013 Tour,' along with fellow season 12 finalists. The tour begins on July 19 and runs until August 31. It begins in Washington and will be hitting big cities like New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, and Miami, before wrapping up in Nashville Tennessee.
