Evan Rachel Wood "handed over primary custody of her son" to ex-husband Jamie Bell out of concern that she was placing her son in danger after ex-husband Marilyn Manson allegedly made threats against the child.

According to legal documents obtained by The Blast, the 35-year-old actress has agreed that her 9-year-old son Jack will 'primarily' reside in Los Angeles with the 36-year-old Bell. She currently resides in Nashville, Tennessee, and previously fought to prevent her son from moving to Los Angeles.

Wood and Bell stipulated in the filing that their son will primarily reside with (him) in Los Angeles, (Wood) shall have custody of Jack one (1) extended weekend per month beginning Friday, after school or 10:00 a.m.

Jack will also be in Wood's possession during holidays such as Spring Break. In July 2022, Bell asserted that she and Wood had shared joint custody of Jack for seven years prior to Wood's decision to withhold Jack from Bell.

Wood denied this claim.

Several sources inform the publication Wood is 'extremely afraid of placing her son in danger' - 17 months after she claimed in a court declaration that Manson, 54, told her he would 'f**k' her then-eight-year-old son, Manson denied the claim.

There are allegations of sexual abuse and human trafficking against Manson. More than a dozen women, including Wood, have accused him of abuse; Manson has denied these allegations.

Wood allegedly stated in custody court that she feared retaliation from the singer, stating that she is a key witness in an ongoing criminal investigation.

In relation to the investigation, she said she alleged that a prominent public figure subjected me to torment, rape, and pedophilic grooming.

She revealed that she is terrified of the purported perpetrator.

She has endured severe physical and emotional trauma at his hands, and feared that he will seek retribution against her for testifying by harming her, their son, and other family members.

It was also claimed that Wood was told 'directly by investigators' that the safety of her family was in jeopardy.

Bell reportedly submitted court documents claiming Wood was 'keeping their son from him', that it'shouldn't have mattered what was going on with Manson,' and that the pair should share custody of their son in Los Angeles.

He wrote that whatever concerns Evan may have about third parties should have nothing to do with him or the custody of our son. He added that he does not even want to consider the potential short- and long-term psychological damage that Evan may be perpetrating on Jack through this type of conversation and my extended separation from him.

Wood responded by denying she had kept Jack from Bell and expressing'real and profound concerns' for her and Jack's safety if they were to reside in Los Angeles. The new custody arrangement was signed and submitted to the courts of Los Angeles County.
