After he was rear-ended yesterday, Aug. 26, by an over-zealous photographer in West Hollywood, Justin Bieber took to his Twitter account to call for new laws regarding the dangers posed by reckless paparazzi, 99.7 NOW reports. However, Bieber has ruffled a few feathers (what else is new?) by comparing the incident to the death of Princess Diana, who of course died in a car crash in Paris back in 1997 after being pursued by paparazzi.
You can check out the tweets in question right here:
Bieber reportedly slammed on his brakes after being relentlessly tailed by the paparazzo, leaving a big dent in the bumper of his Ferrari. Neither Bieber nor the photographer was hurt in the accident, and according to the Hollywood sheriff’s department, neither has yet been found at fault.
Justin Bieber has had some pretty awful luck when it comes to people photographing him recently. On Aug. 25, he reportedly attempted to steal a fan’s phone after the fan took some pictures of him at a Dave & Buster’s, though Bieber was held back by his own security before he could do anything. Bieber is now currently under investigation for the incident, as the fan is considering pressing charges for attempted robbery, attempted theft, and attempted battery.
