Rumors have been circulating that judge Katy Perry of the famous show "America Idol" is about to depart.

The Sun has reported that instead of continuing her involvement with the show, the "I Kissed A Girl" singer wishes to spend more time with her husband, Orlando Bloom, and expand their family.

ABC sources report that the 38-year-old pop star and judge is considering leaving the show to invest extra time with her two-year-old daughter Daisy. Moreover, Orlando, 46, is the father of 10-year-old Flynn from his marriage with Miranda Kerr, 40.

Concerning Katy's family, a source revealed that she wanted Daisy to have a sibling.

The insider asserted that the "Dark Horse" singer is adamant about making time for the Australian actor despite their hectic work schedules, noting: "With both of them working so much, they certainly understand how crucial it is to spend quality time as a family."

The source noted that Katy had expressed her desire for more rest and an elevated emotional state this season.

Furthermore, the informant added that when it comes to her profession, the singer would prefer to travel around the world at her own pace instead of booking shows across multiple continents.

Katy's pause to weigh her options concerning "American Idol's" next season could be for financial reasons.

An inside source has suggested that the pay she would receive from some stadium appearances could be more than ABC offers.

Even though she has dedicated a significant amount of effort to making "American Idol" successful while managing her Las Vegas performances and family life with Daisy and Orlando, it appears as though there will be no salary increase from the already-substantial $30 million sum for Katy when the new season of the singing reality TV show begins.

Despite being portrayed by producers at times as a "villain," Katy Perry has managed to thrive during her extended stint on the show, juggling a world tour, pregnancy, and motherhood, all while remaining balanced.

The show has regained its position as the most talked-about show on television. That said, one wonders how she can reach an even higher peak. Thus, the question remains: How will she surpass her current success?

This week, however, reports surfaced that Katy Perry will likely walk away from "American Idol" due to simmering tension with the show's producers and negative feedback from viewers.

According to the Daily Mail's sources, Katy has grown increasingly weary of feeling "thrown under the bus" on multiple occasions by the series' backstage team. She is said to be ready to move on already.
