Taylor Swift never fails to surprise her fans continually. After pulling out Ice Spice in a monumental appearance on the first night of "The Eras" tour in New Jersey, Swift pulled out her most important collaborator ever - Jack Antonoff.
The Grammy-winning producer was behind Swift's most recent albums, including "Reputation" and "Midnights." Aside from being Swift's loyal and trusted engineer, the two also hold a very dear friendship.

"With this song I'm about to play, this is a song that I know that you have wanted to hear. So I want to bring out someone to play this song with me. He's been one of my best friends, and we worked together for a lot of years and feels like a family member at this point. You're so lucky he's here tonight, he's actually from Jersey," Swift said in her introduction to Antonoff.
In picking their songs, Swift and Antonoff agreed to the "one song" they shared a "magical experience" where they were throwing idea after idea. A few moments later, Swift then strummed and sang "Getaway Car." Watch their performance below.
Aside from "Getaway Car," Swift also performed "Maroon" for the first time.

The Making Of The Song 'Getaway Car'
In 2017, Swift and AT&T partnered in bringing out a limited-edition series of "Making of A Song," an exclusive behind the scene video series of Swift and Antonoff making the songs of her hit album, "Reputation."
Among the clips that went viral was Swift and Antonoff building "Getaway Car," which is now considered to have one of the best bridges across the music icon's discography.
Since then fans have been wanting to hear Swift perform the song live. Many were dismayed that the "Reputation" single was not included in the setlist, but the addition to the surprise song setlist was nothing but surreal for New Jersey Day 1 fans who were in attendance.
