Erik Gronwall uploaded a new video blog to address his health issue and the recent Skid Row concerts' cancelation.
After Skid Row canceled all the remaining Australian tour following its first and last stop in Sydney, the band decided to postpone its Japanese tour due to Gronwall's lingering flu-like symptoms. The band initially scrapped the May 17 concert in Brisbane due to the same reason, but it has since assured fans it would reschedule them for a later date.
Erik Gronwall Shares Thoughts Amid Skid Row's Tour Cancelations
In a new YouTube video titled "Health First!" the frontman revealed he was determined to complete the three shows in Australia after missing the Brisbane show. However, his voice and body suddenly felt tired, leading them to come up with the decision.
Gronwall shared that he knew he could not perform properly after Skid Row opened with "Slave To The Grind" and that he needed to stop and pull the brakes for now.
Skid Row members then had a discussion in the dressing room, and they all decided not to do the remaining show to allow the frontman to recuperate. The affected shows included Skid Row's stops at Bridgeway, Adelaide and 170 Russell, Melbourne on May 20 and 21, before the scheduled Japanese tour also faced the same fate.

He then reminded himself that his body would always be affected by the treatment since it caused his immune system to start anew.
"I think the flu-related symptoms are a result of my body being tired from all the traveling between different time zones," he went on. "Even for a person without my medical history, this would be a tough run."
Gronwall apologized to Skid Row's Australian and Japanese fans again over the unexpected development and assured them he would take care of his health first.
