Beyoncé and Tina Turner go way back as they previously performed together. Now that the Queen of Rock 'n Roll has passed away, the pop star won't miss an opportunity to pay tribute to one of her musical icons.

According to Page Six, the "Alien Superstar" songstress performed at the Tottenham Stadium in London, United Kingdom, on Monday for her "Renaissance" world tour.

During the concert, fans were surprised as she switched up her usual set list and added the 1996 song "River Deep, Mountain High" in honor of Turner.

As seen on videos circulating around social media, the musician's cover was different from the original one as she had a slower tempo.

Beyoncé donned an electric blue bodysuit with a sheer train and geometrical skirt complete with a pair of heels and silver accessories. Fans were excited as it was the first time she wore this outfit on tour.

Beyoncé Pays Tribute to Tina Turner

This isn't the first time the pop singer paid tribute to Tina Turner as she previously performed in Paris, France, and told the audience to "Scream" for Turner to feel her fans' love.

"If you're a fan of mine, you're a fan of Tina Turner, 'cause I wouldn't be on this stage without Tina Turner," she told the crowd.

The "Cuff It" hitmaker said she feels blessed to be alive as she got the chance to witness the late singer's "brilliance."

According to Pop Sugar, Beyoncé has been open about her admiration to the singer. She previously honored Turner during the 2005 Kennedy Center Honors where she noted that she has two Tinas in her life: her mother, Tina Knowles, and Tina Turner.

In 2008, the pair collaborated for a performance of "Proud Mary" at the 2008 Grammy Awards.

She also greeted her during her 80th birthday through her website by writing a touching handwritten letter that detailed how grateful she is for Turner because she made it possible for "another country girl to go after her dreams."

Tina Turner Death

The world of music is mourning the death of Tina Turner after she passed away last week after battling "an ongoing illness."

Her death was announced through social media and many celebrities immediately paid tribute to the rock 'n roll trailblazer.

Beyoncé isn't the first artist to honor the late musician on stage as Lizzo also performed "Proud Mary" during her concert last week.
