Billie Eilish has finally had enough of all the critics and what they have to say about her body image, style, and music.

"I spent the first [five] years of my career getting absolutely obliterated by you fools for being boy-ish and dressing how I did [and] constantly being told I'd be hotter if I acted like a woman," the 21-year-old singer wrote in an Instagram Story.

"Now when I feel comfortable enough to wear anything remotely feminine or fitting, I changed and am a sellout,

"And 'what happened to her' 'OMG it's not the same Billie she's just like the rest' blah blah blah."

Among the words that she hurled back at her critics, she exclaimed "Let women exist!"

Being Both

Eilish, who began writing and recording music at the age of 13, is actually a relatively newly-minted artist in the music industry; but no one would know any better, especially since she has several awards and accolades under her belt.

She began making music for fun with her brother Finneas, who still makes music with her before she eventually made it big with the release of her hit breakout song "Ocean Eyes."

Aside from her music, Eilish is known to experiment with her clothing. She was known to sport very bright neon green-colored hair paired with a baggy t-shirt and loose jeans along with a pair of sneakers.

Billie Eilish's Distinct Style

The signature fit, however, is not simply because she liked it; she revealed in an interview that it was also because she did not like people talking about her body.

"Nobody can have an opinion because they haven't seen what's underneath," Eilish said. "Nobody can be like, 'Oh, she's slim-thick, she's not slim-thick, she's got a flat ass, she's got a fat ass. No one can say any of that because they don't know."

Eventually, Eilish began changing her outfits and began exploring more stereotypical feminine clothing; even then, critics judged her for changing her style and image.

"FUN FACT! did you know that women are multifaceted," Eilish wrote in a follow-up Instagram Story. "Believe it or not women can be interested in multiple things."

"Femininity does not equal weakness. Omg?! insane right? who knew?? and also totally unheard of and insane to want to express yourself differently at different times."

It seems like the singer has finally had enough and decided to clap back once and for all.
