BTS is commemorating their 10th anniversary with a new song titled "Take Two."

The K-Pop septet consisting of SUGA, Jimin, V, Jungkook, RM, J-Hope, and Jin, will release their second song of the year on June 9 in honor of their devoted fanbase, following this month's "The Planet."

Big Hit Entertainment stated that the song expresses their gratitude to ARMY for all the affection they receive and their desire to be with them forever. The agency also said the group is sincerely grateful to the ARMY for making the 10th anniversary possible through their unending support of BTS.

On June 13, the South Korean boy band reaches 10 years old.

The "Butter" hitmakers have also teased their BTS Festa event, which will take place in Seoul over the course of two weeks.

It will begin on June 12 and continue through June 25 at prominent landmarks such as the Han River and Seoul Tower. On June 17, the primary event takes place at Han River Park. Unseen material, special releases, including solo work, and much more are scheduled.

Currently, the band members are focusing on solo projects and military service, and SUGA has previously stated that he looks forward to their reunion and wishes they have a prosperous future.

Speaking to bandmate RM, 28, on an episode of his "Suchwita" podcast, he stated that he fantasizes of a future in which the seven of them are together until their deaths. He said he wants the seven of them to be together for a very, very long time.

He added that he does not know how much more time will pass or how long they will [continue to] progress, but he hopes BTS can all be together even when they get old and stop [promoting as an act].

The 2010-formed boy band BTS announced their hiatus in June 2022. In addition to concentrating on solo music, Jin and J-Hope have begun their required military service.

Back in May 12 however, BTS released their new song "The Planet" from the soundtrack to the animated film Bastions.

On the upbeat song's cheerful chorus, Jung Kook, V, Jimin, and Jin take turns singing.

"The Planet" is the first time that all seven members of the boy band have collaborated on a new song since they announced in October 2022 that they would be focusing on their solo careers and individual artistic endeavors.

Jin, Jimin, V, and Jungkook have collaborated with Snoop Dogg and Benny Blanco on the duo's dance single "Bad Decisions" since then, and J-Hope, RM, Jimin, and Suga have released their respective solo albums: Jack in the Box, Indigo, FACE, and D-DAY (as Agust D), as well as documentaries, photo folios, and more.

It was said at the time that "The Planet" is likely the last new release ARMY can enjoy featuring the entire group for the foreseeable future, given that Jin and J-Hope have already begun their mandatory military service in South Korea and the other five are expected to follow suit due to their ages.

Now fans can enjoy "Take Two!"
