Madonna 'Seduced' This Spanish Actor 'Desperately' But Failed, Director Says

Madonna's charms caught actors' hearts in the past, but the singer reportedly got rejected by one Spanish actor.

As the reigning Queen of Pop, Madonna has been used to getting all the attention. Still, she expanded her career and became an actress.

However, she once suffered rejection from her long-time crush.

Madonna Failed To Make Spanish Actor Love Her

In 1990, Madonna held her Blond Ambition world tour while working on the documentary "In Bed With Madonna."

Despite her busy schedule, she spent her time crushing on Spanish actor Antonio Banderas that she even proclaimed her plans to make him fall madly in love with her although she was dating Warren Beatty at that time.

To make it come true, she asked for Spanish director Pedro Almodovar's help. As reported by Express, the 64-year-old "Back That Up To The Beat" hitmaker asked the filmmaker to introduce her to the actor during the high-profile dinner party.

Madonna is said to have told her documentary directors that Banderas was the actor he had a crush on for two years. However, Madonna knew already that she had one major obstacle before she could win his heart - Banderas' wife, Ana Leza.

She demanded the organizers have Ana Leza be seated at a different table, but she still kept her eyes on her husband and blew kisses to him.

"At the end of the dinner, Ana dared to get close to our table and told the divine blonde sarcastically, 'I see you like my husband, it doesn't surprise me, all women like him, but I don't mind because I am very modern,'" Almodovar said, adding that Madonna only told Ana Leza to get lost.

Unfortunately, Madonna got rejected, with the actor saying that he had no idea the singer was interested in him and that he only found out about it when the clip was included in the documentary.

Madonna, Antonio Banderas Dated Other People

Although Madonna failed to make Banderas fall in love with her, she soon dated her daughter Lourdes' father, Carlos Leon.

Meanwhile, Banderas divorced Ana Leza in 1996 after he starred with Madonna in "Evita." But instead of the singer, he remarried Melanie Griffith until they divorced in 2015.
