Olivia Rodrigo New Album Release Date Teased: What Does The Clock On Her Website Mean?

A cryptic clock on Olivia Rodrigo's website started ticking and Livvies can't stop but think that the end of the clock meant the release of Olivia Rodrigo's new album.

It has been two years since Grammy Best New Artist Rodrigo released her phenomenal debut album, "Sour," which leads her fans to think that the date is ushering in a new era of her new album.

According to the website, the clock officially ends on Jun. 30, 2023, which is coincidentally a Friday. Usually, new album releases and new singles drop on a Friday to take one full week for the Billboard Charts to complete its tracking.

Well, the said album release date could be a long shot, but Rodrigo has been teasing her album for quite a while now.

Her fans seemed to take a whiff of the news, which sent them into a frenzy in anticipation of the new album.

"olivia rodrigo finally making a comeback, it's been 84 years," someone tweeted.

"she will dominate the entire top 10 on billboard and get a number #1 debut we are so ready olivia," another manifested.

"yall better be ready bc she's gonna BREAK THE INTERNET UP," one commented.

Earlier this year, Olivia Rodrigo teased that she has been working non-stop in the studio for her upcoming record. She shared a video of her grooving to a new song with Dan Nigro, her collaborator, in the background playing.

"working on so many new songs I'm excited to show u. Thank u for everything," she said in the caption.

Earlier this year, in celebration of "Sour," Rodrigo sent her fans a newsletter thanking them for supporting her all throughout

"I'm grateful to you guys for embracing it the way you have. I'm taking today to reflect on all the amazing things that have happened since 'Sour' and looking forward to all the things to come," she said in a newsletter.

The album won Best Pop Vocal Album at the 2022 Grammy Awards. Her debut single, "Driver's License," won Best Pop Vocal Performance, as she won Best New Artist.

Since releasing "Sour," Rodrigo's music career has soared she went on to win more awards, and got recognized for various accolades and achievements. With the arrival of her new album, fans are expecting to hear the same caliber (or greater) than what "Sour" has delivered.
