For the first time in almost a decade, half of the Top 10 of the Billboard 200 charts are all country music albums. This incredible feat for the country music genre comes as the said genre achieves wide popularity in the country across all age groups.

Two out of five of the country music album titles in the Top 10 are from Morgan Wallen, whose reign of 12 consecutive weeks at No. 1 was ended by Taylor Swift's "Midnights" returned to the summit.

According to a recent Billboard report, half of the albums on the Billboard 200 Top 10 chart were from the country music genre.

Based on the Jun. 10, 2023 charts, two of these titles came from Morgan Wallen, perhaps one of the biggest music artists in the country right now.

His most recent album, "One Thing At A Time," recently finished a 12 consecutive week reign at the No. 1 spot of the coveted charts. It was now bumped to No. 2 as Taylor Swift's "Midnights," a pop album, reclaimed its top spot.

In the Top 5 is another Morgan Wallen album - "Dangerous: The Double Album" - an album that has spent a huge amount of its time at the Top 10 and the Top 1 spot as well.

Meanwhile, Luke Combs' "Gettin Old" stays at No. 7 this week. The record debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard 200 charts on the Apr. 8, 2023-dated charts. It has been on the charts for ten weeks already.

Zach Bryan's "American Heartbreak," which launched at No. 5 on the Jun. 4, 2022-dated charts, holds the ninth spot this week. On its debut, it concurrently ruled the Top Folk, Top Country, and Top Rock Albums chart at No. 1. It has since been certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America.

Lastly, at No. 10, is Bailey Zimmerman's "Religiously. The Album." Zimmerman's debut studio album made strides as the record continued to perform well in its third week of charting.

The other half, however, comprised four pop albums and a hip-hop album. Taylor Swift's "Midnights" is at No. 1, Lil Durk's "Almost Healed" opened at No. 3, SZA's "SOS" dipped to No. 4, while Taylor Swift's "Lover" ranked No. 6 as Bad Bunny's "Un Verano Sin Ti" placed at No. 8 on the Billboard 200 albums chart.
