Some fans seemed to believe that the Foo Fighters might be appearing at the Glastonbury Festiva 2023 this coming Jun. 21 to Jun. 26, 2023. This was because a "secret band" called "The Churnups" has been playing with Glastonbury fans' imaginations for quite a while already.
As seen on the Glastonbury 2023 official lineup and schedule, "The Churnups" is scheduled to perform at 6.15 p.m. on the Friday night of the Glastonbury Festival at the Pyramid Stage.
Foo Fighters at Glastonbury Festival 2023
What tipped many fans that Foo Fighters might be playing at the Glastonbury Festival is the use of words and verbiage that Dave Grohl used in his recent message to their fans earlier this weekend.
"Every night, when I see you singing, it makes me sing harder. When I see you screaming, it makes me scream louder. When I see you your tears, it brings me to tears. And when I see your joy, it bring me joy," he said in the letter.
But what poked people's attention was the verbiage on the latter part of the message.
"But, I see you... and it feels good to see you, churning up these emotions together," he wrote. It is interesting to see that he used the word "churning up," which, as mentioned, is the same name as the "secret band" that will be playing at the Glastonbury Festival.

Fans React To Possible Foo Fighters Glastonbury Performance
As expected, their loyal fans picked up the seeming suggestion.
"Are you winding us up with that 'churning up' comment coz do NOT toy with my Glasto emotions like that," a fan tweeted.
"There's a mystery act playing Glastonbury's Pyramid Stage this year, listed only as "The ChurnUps". A couple of hours ago, @foofighters posted this..." a user mulled.
Glastonbury Festival Schedule, Lineup
The Glastonbury Festival 2023 is one packed festival despite the backlash it racked up earlier this year. For its Friday lineup at the Pyramid Stage, the main act is Arctic Monkeys with their closing set, to be preceded by Royal Blood and finally "The Churnups" in the 6:15 p.m. slot.
The Saturday Pyramid Lineup is also one to watch. Lizzo will be performing, to be followed by a now-resting Lewis Capaldi, to be ended by Guns N' Roses. On the third day, Lil Nas X will be playing before the highly-awaited last UK performance of Elton John.
