It appears that Noel Gallagher doesn't sit well with The 1975 due to his recent comments. More recently, the band's frontman, Matty Healy, seemingly addressed the issue and took a dig at the Oasis member; what happened?
According to Billboard, the Manchester-based group performed at St. Anne's Park in Dublin, Ireland, earlier this week. The singer, who was linked to Taylor Swift over the past few weeks, shared a story about receiving gifts from legendary musicians.
The singer said the band received "the most beautiful messages, packages, kind of good wishes" from U2's Bono and Coldplay's Chris Martin.
Healy noted that it was a "genuine way" and The 1975 felt "so beautiful" upon receiving the goodies from the singers.
The 1975 Frontman Matty Healy Takes a Dig at Noel Gallagher
Later in the show, the musician finally addressed Noel Gallagher's controversial comments about the group, saying he called him a "slack-jawed f***wit."
"I love Noel Gallagher," the frontman said, before taking a dig at him by using his brother, "We asked Liam to open up and he said he would have done it but he was busy."

Healy didn't stop there as he later compared himself to the Oasis musician, saying, "the difference between me and Noel is that I do a series of interviews to promote an album, whereas he does an album to promote a series of interviews."
He concluded the rant by asking Oasis to reunite.
Matty Healy Opens For The 1975 After Caroline Polachek's Vocal Issues
Caroline Polachek was scheduled to open for The 1975 during the concert in Dublin, but unfortunately, she "lost" her voice and was not able to perform that evening.
Fans were up for a treat as they didn't expect Matty Healy to do a solo set for his own band as they don't have other options.
As seen on videos online, the musician casually sat in a chair with his guitar, a laptop, and what appears to be a beer placed on top of an amplifier.
Regarding Polachek's condition, the "Welcome to my Island" songstress said she will be coming back as soon as she can.
In other updates, The 1975's next show would be at Best Kept Secret in Hilvarenbeek, Netherlands, on June 9 and 10, 2023. For more information about their ongoing tour, visit their official website in this link.
