As if you didn't already love Tony Bennett enough, right?
The legendary crooner has reportedly teamed up with the likes of Edward James Olmos and joined a campaign to help raise the graduation rates throughout the country, according to Billboard.
On Sept. 27, the third American Graduate Day 2014 will take place and hold an accompanying event that will house both interviews and performances by a number of artists in order to celebrate the work of volunteers across the nation who hope to boost the awareness of education importance. It also aims to celebrate those who help young minds succeed in work and school.
The event will be broadcast on the 27th on all public stations and will also be available online. Details of the event were released by the Corporation for Public Broadcasting and TV Station WNET New York just yesterday.
Other notable names rumored to make an appearance are former Secretary of State Colin Powell, Girls (and soon-to-be Peter Pan) star Allison Williams and her father, NBC Nightly News anchor Brian Williams.
Billboard reports that author Wes Moore will be in attendance as well and act as host to American Graduate Day 2014.
News of Bennett's involvement in this campaign comes on the heels of the singer's release of "I Can't Give You Anything but Love" alongside Lady Gaga. The single will appear on the duo's upcoming jazz album Cheek to Cheek, out Sept. 23.
