Lady Gaga has been an advocate for LGBTQIA+ rights since the beginning of her career, but some of her fans are turning their backs against her after striking a promotional deal with a medicine company instead of addressing problems that the gay community had been facing in recent months.
According to Page Six, the "A Star Is Born" actress recently collaborated with Pfizer to promote the drug called Nurtec, which is said to be a medicine against migraine.
The global pop star took to her official Instagram account to share the paid partnership that shows her performing at her "Chromatica Ball" concert, which was professionally filmed in Los Angeles a few months ago.
Many users immediately bombarded the comment section to voice out their opinion over the advertisement and most of them are disappointed that the pop star never spoke out about the struggles of the LGBTQIA+ community in the United States over the past few months.
Lady Gaga Called Out For Not Speaking Out About LGBTQIA+ Rights
"this is so heartbreaking and disheartening. not a single post about pride and the attacks our trans brothers and sisters are suffering," one user commented, adding that the post is "terribly disappointing" because all she cares now is "money and paid partnerships."
"Girl what the hell happened to you that you're like this and care about money this way and nothing else anymore?" another one wrote in the comments.

Not all supporters were against the pop star as there were Twitter users who defended her, saying she had been advocating for LGBTQIA+ rights for years now.
"her support towards the LGBTQ+ community will never be erased. she saved and helped so many of us through her art and activism and for that she'll always be a queer icon," one wrote.
As of this writing, Lady Gaga has yet to comment on the negative comments about her on social media.
Fans Thought Lady Gaga Filmed 'Chromatica Ball' in September 2022
In September 2022, fans speculated that a concert film will be released soon surrounding her "Chromatica Ball" as her concert at the Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles was reportedly filmed.
A notice outside the massive venue noted that the concert will be commercially filmed.
In addition, the pop star also shared a photo on her Instagram stories, writing, "52,000 people. Sold out. 30 cameras pointed at you and one take."
Although Lady Gaga did not confirm whether a "Chromatica Ball" film will be released in the near future, it appears that the concert was professionally filmed for the recent Nurtec advertisement.
