DJ Khaled is going through a hard time right now as he revealed to his followers that he is "in so much pain" after getting into a surfing accident; how is the famed record producer today?
Taking to his official Instagram account, the "I'm The One" hitmaker shared a video of himself on vacation. At first, it appears that the DJ is enjoying his time taking a break on a beautiful island.
However, as the clip progresses, the musician can be seen stumbling down from what appears to be an automatic surfing board before ultimately falling face down the water, causing him to belly flop.
"I have the footage of me falling, flying through the sky, hitting the board on my rib. Bellyflopping in the water," he said. (via Page Six)
After the accident, the producer took his time to relax and focus on wellness as he shared a video of himself getting a massage.
DJ Khaled 'Bruised' After Surfing Accident
He noted that his masseuse believed the pain he was going through was due to muscle inflammation, but he wanted to make sure that there is nothing crucial about his condition so he called a doctor to check on him.
Later that day, he gave fans an update by sharing yet another clip of him in a clinic getting an x-ray as he had a hard time sleeping for the past 48 hours due to "pain."
After getting a professional check-up from a doctor, the musician revealed that he had a "big, real bad bruise." It's still unclear if it was a fracture, but he noted that experts will "double-check" his x-ray.
Despite feeling the pain and getting advised to "rest it up," his injury didn't stop him from playing golf as he posted a clip of him swinging clubs in an open field.
Not the First Time DJ Khaled Had a Water-Related Accident
This was not the first time DJ Khaled was involved in an accident in the ocean as he previously got injured after riding a jet ski a few years ago.
In 2017, the musician shared a few videos about the incident, saying he was on his way to Sean "Diddy" Combs' house riding his jet ski. (via People Magazine)
Unfortunately, the water vehicle smashed into a floating tree. At the time, he said it was "not a joke" and he was indeed stuck.
As he attempted to get out of the branches, his leg got scratched and cuts can be seen down his leg. Later on, he made it to Combs' home where the musician and Drake was seen waiting for him on the dock.
