Jesse Malin, widely known as the frontman and lead vocalist of the band D Generation, opened up about his current health condition in an interview, saying he's struggling with something medically; find out below what happened.
Speaking with Rolling Stone, the musician said he had a rare spinal stroke which left him partially paralyzed, meaning he couldn't feel anything from the waist down.
Sharing the night of the incident, the singer recalled that he was having dinner at a New York City restaurant when he suddenly felt a burning sensation that targeted his lower back which ran down to his feet.
Unfortunately, that evening, he suffered a stroke and he eventually collapsed on the floor and couldn't use his feet to walk.
At the time, the musician said everybody at the venue was standing above him while talking about "these different things." Meanwhile, he was laying on the ground not knowing what happened to his body.

After the incident, the musician said he spent the "hardest six weeks" of his life, and medical professionals told him they don't understand his condition and they were unclear regarding the chances.
"The reports from the doctors have been tough, and there's moments in the day where you want to cry, and where you're scared. But I keep saying to myself that I can make this happen. I can recover my body," he noted.

Two days before he spoke with the outlet for the interview, Jesse Malin said the hospital staff took him outside for the first time. (via Loudwire)
Upon seeing the "sun shining through the glass," he started crying and got emotional because he felt like he was in the movie.
Jesse Malin Tour Canceled
The recent revelation comes a month after Jesse Malin's solo appearance in Boston, Massachusetts, got canceled.
At the time, his team stated that the reason why he had to halt his performance was because of a "serious back injury."
Following this, he also canceled his upcoming scheduled shows across the United Kingdom and the United States.
As of this writing, Malin has yet to reveal whether he's going back on the road amid his health condition or not.
