Taylor Swift has been performing for her "The Eras Tour" over the past few months and her shows are getting more exciting with the help of her supporting acts.

One of her special guests, Owenn, has come a long way as he was a former backup dancer for the pop star's "Reputation Tour." He also appeared in the "Lover" music video in 2019.

Now that he is also a recording artist and a performer, the musician shared his true feelings about being an opening act for the singer's current massive series of shows.

The musician spoke with E! News, saying the experience has been amazing and it's "kind of surreal" for him.

Recalling his first time performing in front of thousands of fans at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, the singer said it was a "pinch me moment" as he couldn't believe that he was performing at a stadium.

According to Billboard, the singer already performed at several of Taylor Swift's shows including Chicago, Detroit, and Pittsburgh. His next opening concert would be in Minneapolis this June 24 and in Los Angeles in August.

How Did Owenn Learn From Taylor Swift?

Elsewhere in the conversation, Owenn revealed that he learned a lot from the "Lover" hitmaker just by observing her while they worked together on previous projects.

"The real advice is actually being in the atmosphere and watching... And I've been working with Taylor for such a long time now, since 2015, so just being in her presence and watching her work is the best advice," he added.

After being tapped to perform for "The Eras" tour, the singer said it boost his confidence as he knows that the pop star believes in him because if she didn't, he wouldn't be performing in front of countless Swifties.

He also feels validated as it is an "ultimate stamp" being on that stage and being hand-picked by the female artist.

In other updates, Owenn just released a new song last week titled "Dark Side of the Moon" which is now available for streaming on major music platforms.

On the other hand, Taylor Swift's next show would be at the U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, MN, on June 26, 2023.
